Choose a Wi-Fi Network fails.

If you are unable to select or connect to a Wi-Fi network during setup, please check the following:

  • We recommend placing your iPhone/iPad, Saveclip, and Wi-Fi router in the same room

  • Move closer to the router to improve signal strength

  • Ensure the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password do not contain special characters (such as emojis or symbols)

  • Make sure the password is entered correctly

  • If your Wi-Fi network is hidden (stealth mode), change it to a visible network

  • Restarting router may fix the problem

Additionally, connection may fail if the following router settings are enabled:

  • Enterprise authentication methods such as WPA2 Enterprise (EAP)

  • Outdated security settings such as WEP or TKIP only

  • Captive portal networks (Wi-Fi requiring login upon connection)

  • MAC address filtering

  • When the maximum number of connected devices has been reached

For a more stable setup, we recommend configuring the device in an environment where all devices are nearby and the Wi-Fi signal is strong.
We recommend using standard home Wi-Fi settings (WPA2 or WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode).

If the 5 GHz band shares the same SSID, temporarily restricting the 5 GHz band may improve connectivity.
