A factory reset is a last resort. Unlike simply unpairing the device, all data—including the latest software—will be completely erased. Do not perform a factory reset unless it is truly necessary in one of the following situations:
When you want to completely erase all stored data before transferring your Saveclip to someone else
When you received a Saveclip from someone else and cannot complete pairing
When you are renting a Saveclip and need to return it
When Saveclip has become completely unresponsive
After reading the above warnings, if you still need to perform a factory reset, hold the side button for three second, then press the side button four times. The factory reset will start automatically.
