Why does “Device Temperature is High” appear?

Updated over a month ago

This message appears when your Saveclip device exceeds a safe operating temperature. To protect the device, battery, and internal components, Saveclip will automatically limit certain functions when this happens.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Stop using Saveclip temporarily

  2. Move it to a cooler place

  3. Keep it in the shade

  4. Remove any accessories or coverings to improve airflow

  5. Disconnect the charger if it is charging

Do not place the device in a refrigerator or freezer, as this may cause condensation damage.

Common causes:

  • Operating in hot environments (e.g., outdoors, inside a car)

  • Poor ventilation (e.g., inside a pocket or bag)

  • Using the device while charging

When the device temperature is too high, Saveclip may automatically:

  • Pause or limit image capture

  • Reduce performance

  • Temporarily disable certain features

These measures help prevent overheating and protect the device.
